NovoMemo

Terms of use

Last updated November 6, 2026

The short version

Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Imaginovo ("we"), which runs NovoMemo. By creating an account or using NovoMemo, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

Who can use NovoMemo

You must be at least 16 years old. You're responsible for what happens under your account, so keep access to your email and sign-in methods safe, and tell us at support@novomemo.com if you think someone else has used your account.

Your content

You own your Notes and everything else you put into NovoMemo. You give us permission to store, copy, process and send that content only as needed to run NovoMemo for you, including sending it to the providers listed in our privacy policy. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from backup copies until they expire.

You're responsible for your content, and for having the right to use it.

AI features

NovoMemo's AI aims to answer only from your Notes and to show where each answer came from, but it can still make mistakes, miss things or misread what you wrote. Check the Reference before relying on an answer. Answers aren't medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.

When you ask the AI to add or edit a Note, the change applies right away with a brief Undo, and deletes wait for you to confirm. Voice transcription can also contain errors, so review the text. You're responsible for the changes you ask for and for how you use the results.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

Free and Premium

The Free plan includes 10 Questions a day, up to 50 a week, and 30 minutes of voice transcription a week. Premium costs $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year in US dollars, plus any applicable tax, and includes unlimited Questions and 5 hours of voice transcription a week. Daily limits reset at midnight and weekly limits on Monday, in your local time. Unused allowances don't carry over.

"Unlimited" means for normal personal use. Access may be limited if use threatens the stability of the service or breaks these terms.

Billing, renewal and cancellation

The service

NovoMemo is still developing. We may add, change or remove features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. If we plan to shut it down, we'll try to give you reasonable notice so you can export your Notes. Please keep your own copies of anything important, using Settings → Export.

NovoMemo relies on third-party services, and we're not responsible for their sites or terms.

Ending your use

You can stop at any time, and delete your account under Settings → Danger zone. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms or creates legal risk or harm, and where reasonable we'll tell you first and let you export your Notes. Sections that by their nature should continue after your use ends will continue, including those on disclaimers and liability.

Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, NovoMemo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and uninterrupted operation.

Limit on liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about NovoMemo is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$50.

Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that can't legally be limited, including your rights as a consumer where you live.

If you got NovoMemo from Apple

These terms are between you and Imaginovo, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its content, or for maintenance, support, warranty claims, product claims or intellectual property claims about it. If the app fails to meet a warranty that applies, you can tell Apple, which may refund the purchase price, and Apple has no other warranty obligation. You confirm that you aren't in a country under a US government embargo or on a US prohibited-party list. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Changes to these terms

We'll update the date above when these terms change, and tell you in the app or by email before an important change takes effect. If you keep using NovoMemo after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, you can stop using it and delete your account.

Other details

If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term right away doesn't waive it. You can't transfer these terms without our consent, and we can transfer them as part of a transfer of the business.
